Live production and end-to-end integration streamlines the bank’s global trade finance operations.
Commercial Banking Applications AS (CBA), a global provider of banking IT solutions and services, is delighted to announce that ABN AMRO has gone into live production with CBA’s IBAS GTF - Global Trade Finance Factory across its worldwide trade finance operations.
The entire project has been completed in less than 12 months. IBAS GTF is now in full production in the Netherlands, Singapore, Hong Kong and New York, and is running as one single global set-up.
This successful project has seen the implementation of an automatic data conversion system to migrate ABN AMRO’s business transactions from their previous system into IBAS GTF. Additionally, integration between IBAS GTF and the bank’s other key systems has been developed and implemented.
The IBAS GTF has been installed as a global multi-country set-up with one ‘single’ instance at ABN AMRO’s IT centre in the Netherlands, and additional countries can easily be implemented.
“We are working in close partnership with ABN AMRO” said Rolf Hauge, CEO & President of CBA. “We have been impressed at the expertise and commitment shown by the bank in deploying the IBAS GTF solution in such a short period of time. IBAS GTF will allow the bank to react quickly to both local and global market conditions, whilst supporting future business growth.”
